October is not my month

It is like I lost a month, October disappeared before my very eyes.

This morning when I woke up I was covered in hives.  I am assuming it is the result of an allergic reaction to the antibiotics I’ve been taking for my sinus infection.  I’ve never had hives before, so it is a guess on my part.

I was expecting thrush or some other kind of yeast overgrowth as a result of the antibiotics, but not this.  Since I am feeling better, I will not take the last 3 days worth of pills.  I’ve gotten a ton of sleep this last week at the expense of work and writing this blog.  I was simply too tired to do anything.

The end of the month is near and I estimated my new totals for the month and it looks like I’ll be back tracking a little.  This is due in part to the extra spending I did in September using my credit card and the additional interest I accrued with the student loan fiasco.

On the positive side, because there should always be a positive side, I now know for sure that antibiotics are not a good treatment for me and to avoid them at all costs.  This is the first allergic reaction, but not the first time I’ve suffered side effects that I thought were worse than the initial problem.

The other positive, November is right around the corner.  A new month, a new start!
